Telecom Tools is a developer of software tools for distributors and end-users
in the telecommunications industry. These tools are designed to minimize
manual efforts, aid in the design & engineering of systems & networks,
improve on-going management of these systems & networks and reduce
costs. Two current tools are the Traffic Configurator and the Station Configurator,
both of which operate in Windows 3.1 & '95.
The
Traffic Configurator is a "user friendly" tool that eliminates the guessing
game that usually happens when trying to determine the amount of trunks
required for a trunk group. Instead of over-trunking and wasting money
as well as PBX real estate, or under-trunking and increasing call blockage,
the Traffic Configurator quickly determines the exact amount of trunks
required based on your actual traffic statistics.
The
Station Configurator is a software tool targeted for both PBX vendors and
Telecom Managers. Instead of spending days, or even weeks, tying up several
PBX programmers to manually collect and input the station parameters for
each telephone during PBX installation, the Station Configurator greatly
simplifies this process while, at the same time, creating a data base for
system programming. Furthermore, as additions, deletions or changes are
requested during the implementation process, it can easily be modified
as these changes occur. Even more impressive is that it automatically prints
the small button labels at your shop or while on-site without having to
re-type the same information twice for each phone set. |
